Family Connection Committee

Mission

To use the experiences of former caregivers to help current family caregivers share their stories, find validation and support for their experiences, and to realize caregiving as universal, self-fulfilling and enriching.

Expectations:

1. Attend meetings held monthly.
2. Help develop ways and means for local family caregivers to tell us what they need and how our community can effectively assist them.
3. Help disseminate information from caregivers to the Elder Care Network and the community at large.
4. Have had the personal experience of providing assistance to a frail elder family member
