The Office on Aging, along with the Elder Care Network, invite you to join us, along with a few other family caregivers to tell us your experiences as a caregiver.
We want to know of your challenges and your successes, as well as your
suggestions about how community services could better support you
We
will be meeting two times, the first to get acquainted with your
particular circumstances and the second to talk about how you are
managing your caregiving role and what you need to make it easier to
take care of yourself. Your story and ideas will be helpful to us as
the Network considers changes in how support is provided to caregivers
in our community. Likewise, if you have particular questions or
concerns, we will see that you get the information you need. The
second meeting will be held February 17 from 3:00pm - 4:30pm.
The
Elder Care Network is a network of over thirty service providers, from
both the private and public sectors of our community, whose mission is
to provide information to families to help them in their role as
caregivers
