The Office on Aging, along with the Elder Care Network, invite you to join us, along with a few other family caregivers to tell us your experiences as a caregiver We want to know of your challenges and your successes, as well as your suggestions about how community services could better support you.
We will be meeting two times, the first to get acquainted with your particular circumstances and the second to talk about how you are managing your caregiving role and what you need to make it easier to take care of yourself. Your story and ideas will be helpful to us as the Network considers changes in how support is provided to caregivers in our community. Likewise, if you have particular questions or concerns, we will see that you get the information you need.
We will limit the group to no more than six caregivers. If you are interested, please let us know by August 1.
Also let us know if you need respite care, in order to be able to attend. We can offer some limited financial support to help you in this way.
The Park Regency is behind the Target store on Hwy 34.
