What is a Caregiver?

by Chris Crownhart last modified 2010-07-29 07:25 AM

Caregiving has many faces. It may include anything from a weekly phone call or visit to see that everything is in order to providing 24 hour physical care in your home. We think it is important, no matter how minimal their role, that caregivers acknowledge their contribution to a family member's well being. Not only will it help you understand and honor your current connection to your family's dilemma, it will also help you define and assume realistic care roles in the future as needs increase or change.

Aspects of care
Caregiving is made up of many tasks, large and small. This is a partial list of services that families may provide.
