The Elder Care Network of Northern Colorado is a volunteer organization of family members and both private and non-profit service providers, who have joined together to ensure that family caregivers of frail elders have access to the information and resources they need to provide and manage care, health, and well being for their loved ones, as well as to care for themselves.
The network is made up of family members and community professionals who host and promote activities intended to assist family caregivers and seniors in making informed decisions.
Our purpose is to embody a network of people who, individually and collectively, respond to the needs of aging and connect such needs with essential information and resources.
A group of professional providers met in 1996 at the invitation of Pam Morris, a caregiver who realized the need to make information and resources about aging more accessible to caregivers and seniors.
Therefore, Elder Care Network of Larimer County was created by Kirsten Hartman and Bonnie Shetler. Then to encompass Weld county as well Larimer County was changed to Northern Colorado.
With over 70 members, Elder Care Network of Northern Colorado has helped countless seniors, family members, and caregivers find the resources and support they need.
